DEAN OF THE COLLEGE OF NURSING AND HEALTH

Madonna University seeks an innovative, collaborative educational leader to serve as its next Dean of the College of Nursing and Health. The next Dean will be a nurse leader providing comprehensive evaluation, leadership and management of programs and personnel including organizational structures, resource allocation, enrollment trends, professional and community partnerships. The Dean will be an integral part of Madonna's leadership team providing direction in the nursing community in this region, expanding health programs, developing more online and hybrid possibilities, building internal linkages with administration and fostering external community partnerships.

The College of Nursing and Health offers multiple Bachelor degrees, a Master of Science in Nursing, a number of Post-Master's Certificates, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. With state-of-the-art nursing simulation laboratories, students prepare to provide care across the life continuum using high-fidelity simulators and standardized case scenarios throughout the undergraduate and graduate level nursing programs. In June 2016, the College was re-accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), and is noted statewide, regionally, and nationally for preparing highly sought after graduates (both registered and advanced practice nurses) who serve in a variety of agencies across Michigan and other states.

Founded by the Felician Sisters in 1937 in Livonia, Michigan, Madonna University is true to its mission to instill in its students Christian humanistic values, intellectual inquiry, a respect for diversity and a commitment to serving others through a liberal arts education, integrated with career preparation and based on the truths and principles recognized within Catholic tradition.
