Responsibilities
New York Techs Digital Art and Design Department seeks adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate Digital Arts students at our Old Westbury, Long Island campus in the Spring 2022 semester. The responsibilities of the position include teaching courses in areas of digital compositing, visual effects and motion graphics.
Candidates must have teaching experience and demonstrate evidence of a theorist and practitioner in the digital arts, CGI, film, digital compositing and motion graphics; they must contribute their expertise within the context of an academic environment that stresses students aesthetic, conceptual, and technical skills towards their portfolio development.
Qualifications
MFA in Digital Arts, Motion Graphics or equivalent degree
Evidence of teaching experience at University level
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in motion graphics, digital compositing and visual effects
Knowledge of Adobe CC with emphasis on After Effects and Premier, and Nuke
